Welcome to Dance Skool, the Gold Coast's first all-encompassing Hip Hop dance school with over 10 styles for students to choose from.

From beginner to advanced, our highly-trained, experienced and motivational instructors will have you burning up the floor in no time.

Classes range from kids 5yrs of age to Adults.

As we are a HIP HOP Danceskool there are many styles that are available to be learned.

Styles include:

Breaking, Krumping, Popping, Locking, Tutting, Liquid, Digits, House-Dance, Melbourne Shuffle, C-Walk, Boogaloo, Clowning, Animation and of course the all encompassing Newstyle! To view some of these in action performed by our very own instructors, be sure to check out our Videos.

If you want to learn to dance like your favourite Hip Hop stars, e.g. Usher, Omarion, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Ciara etc, we can teach you this. However we at Dance Skool believe strongly in teaching the core values & the history behind each style. Our classes are not just learning moves, but also understanding the feeling of the dance. This method will teach you how to freestyle, helping you unlock your creativity and giving you the ability to dance to any type of music, at any location.

We also have a specialised Club Dance class. This is for adults who would like to learn basic rhythm and how to dance in a social or nightclub environment.

At the end of each class students will receive a few drills to practice to help advance their dancing at a quicker rate. Students will not be punished or sent to detention if work is not done, however we recommend that you practice at home for best results. Students will also be taught the correct method for warming up/stretching as this is an extremely important preparation for dance. We look forward to hearing from you!!
