When my sister was ill with breast cancer I was stunned by the support and love offered by friends and family.

The care so generously given to my sister was amazing. It makes a real difference knowing how much others have compassion for what's happening.

Finding a way to express your love and support for others going through a really tough time can help those in the midst of the fight feel empowered rather than isolated.

But knowing how to help can be really challenging, so I thought I'd create a facebook group for people to come together to share tips, stories and links to get the ideas going.
