Wilson Audio WATT Puppy 7 speakers (Dark Titanium)

This is a pair of Wilson Audio WATT Puppy 7. After over 10 years, new woofer drivers are used in the Puppy 7. With new tuning to the bass cabinets, the WATT Puppy - the world's most well-known ultra highend speakers - finally got rid of its archilles' heel that is an annoying overemphasis in the upper mid bass. The WP7 delivers tauter and more powerful bass that is almost full range and a lot more neutral, without having to resort to a midbass emphasis that only created an illusion of powerful bass like the older series.

New M-material, the polymer that was developed for the MAXX, is now used in the WP7. This is also the last series that used lead shots in the WATT cabinet which the series 8 later removed to comply with CE standards. This is why the WATT 7 weighs almost twice as much as the WATT 8.

A truly modern WATT Puppy for less than $10,000? This is the best investment in high-end audio by far. The pride of ownership will far exceed that of anything else in this crazy hobby.
